I LOVE May! Whatta GREAT month! Mother's Day, My daughter's birthday AND my wedding anniversary ALL within THE DAYS of each other! No pressure! I have been married to Mrs. The Voice of Steve for twelve WONDERFUL years and she continues to put up with all my goofiness and silliness. Hard to believe it's been THREE WHOLE YEARS I've been doing this. The Voice of Steve is almost an institution...in my own mind. Thanks to those who have listened over those three years. It's been my pleasure to bring you any level of fun you've gotten out of it. With Lent upon us, as I am want to do, I give up something that I love. For the Lenten season I give up The Voice of Steve. You may think that's like taking a forced vacation, but I LOVE doing my show MORE than I would any vacation, so it truly is a sacrifice. I'll visit the "Voice of Steve" page on facebook and I'll drop some previous episodes, "classics" if you will, there from time to time! I hope to see you there, too! Does anyone have an extra weekend layin' around that they're not usin'? I sure could use one. Had a great weekend: The kids' talent show (which I had a BLAST hosting), basketball games, eleventy-seven playdates for the kids and a moderately entertaining "Big Game"! While I hope it isn't the case, this may be the last REGULAR episode for a little bit as my work hours have actually been INCREASED. Two episoded in as many days. Somebody must have spiked the champagne last night. I'm looking forward to this year. The Voice of Steve is chugging along. I'd like it to be more than it is, but I'm thrilled to see what it's already become. I hope some of that rubs off on you, the listener! My hope is that I'll be able to make a bigger push with my dream of being a full-time Voice over actor.
